nestoria.co.uk Answers Q: Where Can I Live?

nestoria.co.uk are keeping ahead of the pack in terms of cool search applications with the launch of where-can-i-live.com? It allows Londoners to find a property based on their commuting time to work.

Transport and accessibility to work are perennial concerns for property searchers, so incorporating this into the search parameters is a fabulous idea.

As they write:

“We think that people want to live where they can easily get to work, so we created a simple tool to answer that difficult question: ‘Where Can I Live?’”.

Merging the nestoria property listings with average travel times by train or tube in central London means you can now see which locations, and properties listed for sale or rent in them, might be a good match with your work location. The search results also show useful nestoria.co.uk statistics like average house prices.

At the moment the search only covers central London, and doesn’t take into account train timetables, or walking times from stations, so you have to allow a few minutes extra.

But the idea is superb, and should open people’s eyes to property possibilities they hadn’t even considered.
