ASDA Property Website Canned

In January this year we reported on an initiative by UK supermarket chain ASDA to bring real estate in store and online through Homes in Asda, known online as homesinstore.co.uk. Now it seems that the bubble has burst, with the website being shut down.

globrix.com Scoops Negotiator Award

On Tuesday in London there were 18 trophies up for grabs at the inaugural ceremony for the Negotiator Awards.
Organised by the real estate industry magazine in association with primelocation.com and findaproperty.com, these awards celebrate entrepreneurialism, innovation and business acumen within the sector, and portals were included under the “Estate Agency Service Firm of the Year category”.
This category is open to any type of “service supplier” to the estate agency sector – so for example HIP providers, conveyancers, solicitors, search firms, technology providers, mortgage brokers. Finalists were:
And the winner was revealed to be globrix.com, who wrote on the globrix.com blog:
“We can proudly say that Globrix is the ‘Estate Agency Service Firm of the Year’. We’re very proud of all we’ve achieved in our short ten months on the property scene
”
