According to the latest Nielsen and comScore averages, traffic to the Top 10 UK property portals was down 8% in April to 8.7 million combined unique website visitors from a figure of 9.5 million in March 2009.

UK property portal and property information website, zoopla.co.uk, has seen its website traffic rise a further 8.43 percent in the past month, according to the latest independent performance results from Nielsen and comScore.

Trinity Mirror plc has acquired UK property search engine zoomf.com adding to the other property portals it already owns – smartnewhomes.com, email4property.co.uk and Fish4Homes.

The ComScore numbers are out for September 2008. propertyfinder.com and zoopla.co.uk were the big winners with propertyfinder.com moving back into second place with findaproperty.com slipping to third place and zoopla.co.uk increasing traffic by 32% month on month.
The big losers were primelocation.com that slipped futher behind big broter findaproperty.com and propertyfinder.com, thinkproperty.com that slipped 20% and the much hyped globrix.com that also slipped 21% and is now the 17th most visited property portal site in the UK.
