After signing a long-term partnership with UK regional media business Archant in January, zoopla.co.uk has relaunched the company’s online property channel homes24.co.uk.
The new-look homes24.co.uk now includes zoopla.co.uk features such as property valuations and the AskMe! question and answer section. zoopla.co.uk says homes24.co.uk lists almost half a million properties for sale and rent, and will start to be promoted heavily in all Archant’s local papers and magazines.
“This deal is a natural fit, combining the ability of a traditional publisher to drive traffic using their strong media assets to a market-leading online platform provided by us,” says zoopla.co.uk CEO Alex Chesterman. “The partnership leverages each of our core competencies to benefit both consumers of Archant media and members of the zoopla.co.uk platform.”
Nielsen figures from January released by zoopla.co.uk show the website is second in the UK market behind rightmove.co.uk, with 1,923,000 unique visitors compared to rightmove.co.uk’s 3,599,000. The portal hired John Notley, the former sales director of findaproperty.com and primelocation.com parent company The Digital Property Group, last month.

If you look closely, it seems to be just a logo and a few css colour change. It still says zoopla all over not really a quality white-label.
