Recently launched portal propmatch.com.sg says it wants to raise the bar when it comes to agents’ communication with clients through its new live chat feature.
Launched in November 2010, propmatch.com covers residential and commercial property in the Singaporean market. The new chat function allows home hunters to talk with agents whenever they are signed in to the portal.
At the moment, propmatch.com has over 250 agents signed up, charging them on a monthly subscription basis and promising an environment free of third-party advertising. The portal currently lists 1,547 residential properties for sale, and 577 for rent.
“What I saw was a need for a distraction-free property platform that enhanced the user’s experience,” propmatch.com co-founder David Zhang told youngupstarts.com when the portal was launched last year.
propmatch.com is taking on a market that includes a number of established players, including Allproperty Media’s propertyguru.com.sg, which claims to see 1.9 million visits per month, and IPGA’s iproperty.com.sg, which reported a total of 410,000 unique visitors in January this year.
