New Hitwise figures for the week ending 7 July have rightmove.co.uk in 10th place on a list of the top UK websites.

Hitwise’s full list, which ranks the top 20 UK websites by page view percentages, is as follows:

2. Google UK (11.77%)
3. eBay UK (7.64%)
4. YouTube (3.87%)
5. Yahoo! UK & Ireland Mail (1.92%)
6. BBC News (1.70%)
7. BBC Sport (1.00%)
8. Amazon UK (0.93%)
9. MSN UK (0.82%)
10. Rightmove (0.69%)
11. BBC Homepage (0.67%)
12. Gaydar (0.52%)
13. Bebo (0.50%)
14. Auto Trader UK (0.49%)

rightmove.co.uk says it registered an 11 percent increase in page views during June compared to the same month last year.
“To be amongst the top 10 web domains in the UK is a notable achievement for us,” says rightmove.co.uk commercial director Miles Shipside.
“rightmove.co.uk is synonymous with home-hunting and property research but this underlines our position as one of the most popular overall consumer brands out there on the web.”

Whats interesting is that Google Maps UK is number 18. If they can make the real estate features of this more prominent it could shake things up a bit.
