International free-to-list portal mondinion.com has made big strides in terms of visibility according to globaledge.co.uk’s latest survey of English-language overseas property portals.
To create this survey, globaledge.co.uk checks the natural search engine rankings of each portal on google.com and google.co.uk, then reports if a portal ranks in the top three or top 20 results. More information on this methodology can be found here.
According to this latest survey, mondinion.com appeared in 50 percent of searches, moving it from eighth to fourth place on the top 50 list. globaledge.co.uk says this may be due to the portal’s manual upload requirement, which means it never duplicates content with other portals.
rightmove.co.uk still tops the list, followed by themovechannel.com, which has replaced findaproperty.com in second place.
propertyshowrooms.com also managed a big climb up the list, moving from 12th to sixth position after appearing in 46 percent of searches. “The Spain-based portal is one of the larger overseas property portal businesses and its presence in the top ten is long overdue,” globaledge.co.uk writes.
