VivaReal, an online real estate marketplace for Latin America and the Caribbean, has just released a set of paid listing packages.
The new paid premium options start at US$15 for a single 30-day listing. VivaReal still offers free basic listings.
“During 2009 we maintained a free-to-list model across the board so that users had plenty of time to test our platform, generate free leads and then ultimately transact property,” explained the company’s founder, Brian Requarth.
“After spending months repeating this process many times over and over again with our clients, we believe we have a calculated and tangible understanding of the true value VivaReal delivers to its users. As a result, and partly by popular demand, we determined that the first quarter of 2010 was the time to take the next step and offer premium products in all markets, together with listing subscriptions in a select group of ‘hot’ regional markets.”
VivaReal’s new online payment system allows users to see the discount they receive for bulk listings, and lets them pay via PayPal as well as credit card.
Along with its Latin American and Caribbean website, VivaReal also runs sister websites covering Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, and for the Spanish-speaking population in the US.
