New Options at rentbits.com, jaap.nl

US rentals search engine rentbits.com provides a simple search by location, price range, and number of bedrooms, but until now didn’t allow users to find properties by neighbourhood.

rentbits.com has just updated to include this option, saying search by neighbourhood was the most requested feature from its users.

rentbits.com, which recently advertised for two new employees, says it indexes over 500,000 active rental properties daily.

Meanwhile, ever-active Dutch portal jaap.nl has introduced new filters to help users find the right property. A recent blog post explains that jaap.nl listings can now be sorted to find those with features such as a garden, balcony, garage, fireplace, elevator, or swimming pool.

jaap.nl joined forces with number three player huizenzoeker.nl in a listing distribution partnership earlier this month. Google Ad Planner figures published by jaap.nl at the time have its market share up slightly to 10 percent, however it is still well behind market leader funda.nl, which has 44 percent.
