After teaming up with ziprealty.com to allow users to view estimated closing costs a few weeks ago, closing.com has entered into a similar partnership with US real estate search engine roost.com.
roost.com, which covers 8,000 US cities in 55 major metropolitan areas, will now let users view the closing costs associated with a particular listing on a new section of the website powered by closing.com’s database.
closing.com says its database offers live rates from over 125,000 vendors, including rates for title insurance, home inspections, pest inspections, appraisals, and notary and home warranty services.
roost.com, which expanded to 11 new areas in December, partners with local Multiple Listing Services, real estate brokers, builders and data providers, and directs consumers to a hosted network of real estate broker and agent internet data exchange websites.
