booli.se Teams with News Site

Swedish news website svd.se, the online version of daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, has struck a deal with property portal booli.se to provide its users with access to real estate listings.

The partnership was first announced on booli.se’s blog in mid-December, and svd.se is now promoting the new housing section, which provides market news and lifestyle articles are well as a property search option powered by booli.se.

booli.se’s blog post explains the deal was made after Svenska Dagbladet interviewed the portal’s creators. booli.se is also inviting other website owners to take advantage of its API to add a property search to their offerings.

booli.se released its augmented reality search application for smart phone users in December 2009.

  1. Changes at myhome.ie, booli.se

    Following on from its redesign at the end of last year, myhome.ie has launched a new direct marketing campaign to reach local areas. myhome.ie is a subscription-based portal that lists property in Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as overseas. It says its new marketing push will segment and target the Irish market on a county by county basis to increase brand awareness among consumers and estate agents....

  2. booli.se Listings on Layar

    Swedish portal booli.se has joined the ranks of property websites offering an “augmented reality” search with the release of its Layar-based application. A booli.se blog post explains that iPhone and Android users will now be able to install Layar and see nearby booli.se listings wherever they point their phone....

  3. ziprealty.com Teams with Maponics

    US online brokerage ziprealty.com has entered into a partnership with Maponics to improve its property search and map display. Maponics' neighbourhood boundary data will now form the backbone for ziprealty.com's local real estate guides, heat maps, and sales comparison information. The integration also means users will be able to search for properties by locally-known neighbourhood names....

  4. Augmented Reality at ziprealty.com

    ziprealty.com's iPhone application, released in December, has just been updated to include an augmented reality option. The current US number five real estate website calls the augmented reality feature "HomeScan". A “radar” embedded within the app shows which direction to point the phone to see more homes for sale or recently sold properties, even if they are behind the user....

  5. redfin.com Adds Atlanta, Local Teams

    US online real estate brokerage redfin.com has now added Atlanta, increasing its listings by 30 percent. redfin.com, which is one of two US real estate websites to have incorporated Google Maps’ new angled view to its listings, says the Atlanta team will be headed by broker James Marks. redfin.com also explains that it is rolling out local real estate teams for every market it serves....
