The Digital Property Group (TDPG) has bought dothomes.co.uk, a UK-based property search engine previously owned by BytePlay, for an undisclosed sum.

BytePlay put all three of its DotHomes websites – dothomes.co.uk, dothomes.co.za, and dothomes.com – up for sale in a private auction in September last year. The auction was scheduled to conclude in October, however BytePlay has only just announced the sale of dothomes.co.uk to TDPG.

TDPG said in a statement that it has also bought extate.com, another domain previously owned by BytePlay, and that both have now been redirected to findaproperty.com.

This purchase follows TDPG parent company Associated Northcliffe Digital’s acquisition of a 50 percent stake in globrix.com, announced last Friday.

BytePlay says it continues to operate DotHomes brands in the US and South Africa, as well as ononemap.com in UK, which it has just relaunched.
