hotpads.com, a map-based real estate search engine for the US, has just released a mobile search application for Android phones.
Using the application, home hunters can find nearby properties, browse listings, contact agents, and get driving and walking directions.
hotpads.com shows the application on a Motorola handset, but the fact that it has been created for the Android operating system means it will also work on Google’s new Nexus One handset – its answer to the iPhone.
hotpads.com, which took out a Webby Award as well as a spot on PC Mag’s top 100 list in 2009, says it has over 3 million houses for sale and 300,000 rental properties in its listing database.
