Mobile Apps from propertypal.com, Corcoran

Northern Irish property portal propertypal.com has just moved into the mobile market with the release of its application for BlackBerry, iPhone and Android platforms.

propertypal.com says it is the first property website in Northern Ireland to offer a mobile property search application. As well as providing users access to all propertypal.com’s content, the application uses GPS to show nearby property listings.

“With Internet technologies moving so quickly, we wanted to provide an innovative solution for mobile users to browse our property listings,” said Errol Maxwell, propertypal.com managing director. “Month on month, mobile users represent a growing percentage of our overall traffic, and this dedicated solution will offer the same user experience that our audience have come to expect from our regular site.”

Meanwhile, New York broker Corcoran Group has launched its application for iPhone, allowing property seekers to search its listings, see full screen photos of properties and receive notification of new listings and open houses.

As futurefrealestatemarketing.com points out, Corcoran have taken the step of commissioning Swedish artist Kari Modin to create an advertising campaign for the new application:

    Not exactly true. http://www.propertynews.com lauched their mobile site over 2 years ago.
