December 7, 2009 by Alice Allan
clickindia.com, a free-to-list classifieds portal covering real estate as well as jobs, cars, second hand goods and service providers, has been recognised as one of the 100 “most promising” companies driving the future of technology in the 2009 Red Herring awards.
To choose the winners, US media company Red Herring evaluated over 800 private companies on criteria such as company financials, strategy execution, management quality, and dedication to research and development.
Alex Vieux, Red Herring’s CEO, sees clickindia.com as a force to be reckoned with in the Indian marketplace:
“It has been a challenging and revealing year for most companies across the globe, yet Red Herring received a very impressive list of nominations from Asia Pacific. Companies that believe in constant innovation and consistent strategy, investing in people and technology, managed to overcome these difficult times and Clickindia Infomedia Pvt Ltd is one of them. They will certainly thrive in the marketplace and become a formidable force in the future.”
clickindia.com covers 16 cities across India, and currently lists 164,039 properties, up from 89,056 in July this year.
