Leading UK property portal rightmove.co.uk is reporting increases in memberships, visitor numbers, sales and savings for the third quarter of 2009.
The portal says August was its busiest month ever with almost 600 million page impressions – a 40 percent increase over August 2008.
Rightmove plc’s interim management statement for the period 1 July to 31 October 2009 also says the number of advertisers on the website now stands at 17,000, up five percent from the low point of February 2009.
The number of real estate agent members rose to 14,100 at the end of October, up 8 percent from the low point at the end of January 2009.
The portal says average revenue per advertiser has grown as well as sales of its “Choice” products. “Changes to pricing are progressing according to plan,” the statement reads.
The growth in visitor numbers – a 35 percent increase over the period between July and October 2008 – is said to have generated a 60 percent increase in enquiries for advertisers.
rightmove.co.uk says it is on track to save £5 million in 2009, and that it expects to achieve further progress in 2010.

Kudos to rightmove.co.uk. Their portal is a real good one. I can’t find prices for agents advertisement, any clue?
They charge around GBP 350 per month for all you can eat … ie all your listings. That is for UK agents. No idea for overseas agents.
