US real estate connection website homegain.com has announced a partnership to provide agents with the ability to display CyberCity 3D’s Virtual Viewing marketing products on their listings.
CyberCity’s 3D’s products use Google Earth’s API plug-in to allow home hunters to get a detailed view of a property’s location through their browser. The company creates 3D models of properties and says the 3D experience “enhances and completes the consumer’s search for a home”. Its website does not go into detail on pricing. This demonstration video shows how the product works.
Once their 3D model has been created, agents link their listing to CyberCity 3D’s models and a “View in 3D” option then appears next to their homegain.com listing.
homegain.com collects user details and then sells these to agents or mortgage providers. Agents subscribe to the website’s AgentView service to promote themselves in a particular market. The latest Hitwise figures have homegain.com down from 13th to 16th place in its top US real estate websites list.
homegain.com is owned by Classified Ventures LLC, which also owns apartments.com, apartmenthomeliving.com, homefinder.com and rentalhomesplus.com.
