realtybid.com Reports Jump in September Sales
October 15, 2009 by Alice Allan

US online auctions website realtybid.com is reporting “skyrocketing” sales figures for September.
According to realtybid.com, its September sales figures increased by more than 211 percent over August figures and by 308 percent over those of September 2008. These September sales were the result of realtybid.com offering its largest ever inventory of post-foreclosure, bank-owned properties.
“We expected to see bidders take advantage of the unbelievable REO bargains we had to offer in September, and they did,” realtybid.com CEO Tony Isbell said. “Year-to-date, September is by far our biggest sales month of the year, and it’s our second biggest sales month ever.”
The free-to-view foreclosure website is expecting October to be another big month, anticipating an inventory of 1,200 foreclosure properties.
The harsh economic climate has benefited realtybid.com, which reported similarly strong results at the end of 2008.
