New Malaysian Portal Aims to Cover it All

Malaysian company The Edge Communications has launched a new website that offers property listings as well as property news, events, opinion articles, a directory of agencies and a range of other information.
The Edge Communications is behind business newspaper The Edge Financial Daily along with Personal Money, haven and Off The Edge magazines. Their new property website, theedgeproperty.com, is currently being promoted on theedgemalaysia.com – the company’s news website.
An article on theedgeproperty.com lists its launch partners: Maybank Maxihome, Island & Peninsular, Mah Sing, S P Setia, Sime Darby Property, Sunrise and Sunway City. The article also outlines the new website’s “real-time hot deals” feature, which displays recently listed sale and rentals properties.
“The real-time hot deals feature is basically a micro-tracking of property values and we think this will be of great interest to viewers simply because the government’s official transaction data is only available about three months or so after the sales and purchase agreement is signed,” executive editor for property and retailing Au Foong Yee explained.
theedgeproperty.com also contains information on the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program along with a glossary of real estate terms, useful links, tips and advice, and a section on featured development projects.
theedgeproperty.com joins a number of established portals in the Malaysian market including the recently relaunched iproperty.com.my, propertrack.com and classifieds website mudah.my.
