domain.com.au Launches Inspection Planner
October 13, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

Australian property portal domain.com.au has launched a new “Inspection Planner” that allows house hunters to plan their viewing schedules online.
The planner also helps property searchers to find the most direct route between open-for-inspection viewings.
Property searchers can plot the properties they’re looking to buy, rent or share on a map, create a list of open-for-inspection times according to their order of viewing on any given day and get directions between each open property.
The company says that for real estate agents, the Inspection Planner offers greater exposure for listings. It includes agent branding against each listing, a link to contact the agent direct from the Planner as well as using the agents’ description of the property and its main image. The Planner is also designed to make it easier for potential buyers to attend each open-house.
John Brand, Domain General Manager of Key Categories, NSW Publishing comments, said in a press release announcing the new feature:
“This new tool cements Domain’s position as the innovator in Australian online property search. It’s one more way which Domain is demonstrating commitment to our agents, and supporting each and every listing they post on the Domain.com.au site.”
It has been a year of improvements for domain.com.au so far. The launch of the Inspection Planner, which is sponsored by Aussie Home Loans, follows the introduction of Radar lifestyle search and the company’s iPhone application.
The Inspection Planner is accessible via the “My Domain” section of the website.
