casa.it Blogs with Economy Magazine
October 27, 2009 by Alice Allan

casa.it, one of Italy’s leading property portals, has launched blog.casa.it in cooperation with popular Italian business magazine Economy.
Economy runs its own blog, and its journalists will contribute to articles on blog.casa.it and answer users questions in the “Ask casa.it” section. casa.it’s CEO Daniele Mancini, explained the aim of the blog:
“The launch of blog.casa.it in co-operation with Economy bears evidence of the attention of casa.it towards innovation and interaction with the users, in view of providing a comprehensive service. The blog, in fact, falls within the framework of a consumer-focused strategy, aimed at developing a real estate culture to make investment decisions easier and thus promote the revival of the real estate sector.
In line with our educational strategy, with this initiative we now intend to continue to offer our expertise to online users, providing updated contents and competent answers to frequently asked questions in the real estate area. Moreover the blog is intended to stimulate an interaction between the users and the over 12,000 real estate agencies registered in our portal.”
The release of blog.casa.it follows casa.it’s launch of its “Real Estate 2.0” strategy in June this year, aimed at encouraging innovation in the Italian real estate market.
casa.it is owned by Australian company REA Group, which said in its annual report that the website has 25 percent of Italian agents now signed up, saw 1.4 million unique browsers in June 2009, and has 530,000 active listings.
