trulia.com Celebrates 4 Years

US property search engine trulia.com celebrated its fourth birthday last Friday.

After just four years in the market the website is a household name and there’s already a lot to celebrate.

Some of its many achievements in its relatively short life include being a top 5 site according to both Hitwise and Comscore.

This year alone the website has picked up a Webby Award, was named in PC Mag as one of its top 100 websites of 2009, and was a Webware 100 Finalist.

According to the search engine, 2009 was its biggest year ever with a total of 62.3 million unique visitors. trulia.com says internal data has page views up 105 percent and property views up by over 130 percent. Trulia Voices also doubled in terms of the number of consumer questions asked, and almost 1 million home buyer inquiries were sent to real estate agents throughout the year....
