oodle.co.uk Reveals Distribution Deals

oodle.co.uk has revealed three new distribution deals for its property listings in the UK and gone live with property listings on Facebook marketplace, moves which reinforce its claim of being the fastest growing classifieds network.

oodle.co.uk’s property listings will now be showing on Thomsonlocal, AOL and UKVillages.

The new distribution deals expand and build upon the Oodle network in the UK. Users who post an ad on Oodle will now see it shown on AOL, Thomsonlocal and UKvillages as well as across oodle.co.uk’s other media partners like adtrader.co.uk, tntonline.co.uk, The Sun, Daily Star and Magic Radio for instance, hopefully leading to more leads.

Its parent company oodle.com was selected last year to power Facebook’s Marketplace, a move that many hope will see social media working harder for classifieds. oodle.com’s task was to further develop the application and integrate it into Facebook – and it’s now live with property listings, having had an earlier launch with goods for sale or exchange in March.

The Facebook product is now fully integrated into the Facebook news feed and includes four categories: items for sale, housing, vehicles and jobs. When propertyportalwatch.com checked there were over 80,000 listings in housing under sales, rentals and share accommodation.

Despite widespread speculation that users would be charged to place listings this is not the case and all Facebook users can post their listings in Facebook’s marketplace free of charge.
