A new rental property portal has just been launched that claims to provide “state-of-the-art search tools” to help users find property.

mycheapapartments.com describes itself as a possible challenger to websites such as Craigslist and the eBay owned rent.com, which are popular with price conscious property seekers.

mycheapaparments.com says it gathers listings from a diverse group of landlords that range from independent owners to apartment companies. The website states that the advantage it has over classifieds websites such as Craigslist is ease of navigation.

mycheapapartments.com’s basic search covers a property’s location, price range, and number of bedrooms and bathrooms, but users can also choose to search by criteria such as county, college, school district and building name. The website also offers users free moving quotes, credit consultations and reports.

The new portal has been set up as a sister website to Realty Nation Inc website realestatenation.com, which covers houses for sale and rent across the US.
