US property search engine trulia.com has announced the company has achieved new benchmarks in site traffic, user engagement and revenue in the second quarter of 2009.

The company says new product innovations coupled with increased consumer thirst for information helped to fuel trulia.com’s growth in the first half of 2009.

In an email newsletter, trulia.com says its growth in the first half of 2009 included:

  • More than 5.5 million monthly unique users
  • 90% increase in total property views since January 2009
  • 83% growth in page views across home listings, stats & trends and Trulia Voices in 1H09
  • 5th spot in Hitwise and ComScore Real Estate rankings
  • 85% increase in Trulia Voices contributions in the first half of 2009 compared to 2008

It tops off a great start to 2009 for the search engine, which also celebrated powering CNN Money Best Places to Live and was honoured by PC Mag as well as picking up a Webby Award.
