Notes Tool For findaproperty.com
August 28, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

UK property portal findaproperty.com has added a “notes” tool to every property detail page on the website, making it easier for site users to remember what they liked or disliked about a property listing.
The feature allows registered users to make comments and notes in the pop-up box – what they think of the property, why it might be worth viewing and so on – and to save the note for later viewing.
The note will remain on this property detail (as one of the icons on the right hand side) and the property itself will automatically save to the registered user’s Saved Properties folder.
findaproperty.com says:
“The Add Note feature is a great way to record your thoughts about properties as you browse. What’s handy about this is that when you check them again you’ll immediately be reminded about what you liked and disliked without having to read through the entire details.”
While the feature enhances the site’s functionality, it’s certainly not new. For instance, findaproperty.com’s competitor, UK market leader rightmove.co.uk, offers a similar “notes” function on property detail pages, and Australian portal domain.com.au incorporates notes into its “shortlist” feature.
