More Good News From findaproperty.com?
August 17, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

The Digital Property Group (DPG) owned UK portal, findaproperty.com, has released a statement saying that after record numbers of visitors to its website during July 2009, this month is also showing signs of yet more activity.
At the end of July The Digital Property Group revealed that findaproperty.com, its flagship property portal, had been breaking web traffic records, as had it’s sister website, market leading new homes specialist portal findanewhome.com.
findaproperty.com now says that its visitor numbers peaked on 11 August as the equivalent of more than two visitors hit the site every second.
For the first eleven days of August 2009 the number of unique visitors to the site was up 16% compared to the same period last month and 32% higher than same period in August 2008.
Michael O’Flynn, director of findaproperty.com, said:
“We’ve heard numerous reports telling us prices are up and the market is improving but we haven’t had a good measure of consumer confidence. This surge in visitor activity shows those who have been waiting for the market to bottom out now believe the recovery in sale and rent prices is sustainable and are trying to snap up bargains before it’s too late. While it’s still early days, this shows some positive signs in the property market.”
According to comScore figures for July 2009, DPG’s four property portals came in number two in the rankings, with 1,892,000 unique visitors. DPG’s combined strength still trails behind market leader rightmove.co.uk by over 600,000 unique visitors.
Earlier last month DPG launched a recruitment drive, with the group’s CEO, Mark Milner, saying that the recruitment drive was a way of catching up to market leader rightmove.co.uk. findaproperty.com also revealed the results of its partnership with McDonald’s in the McDonald’s Best Chance Monopoly nationwide promotion.

Does Michael O’Flynn have access to agents sales figures and does he know something the RICS, NAEA etc don’t? What next, and estate agent giving a press release about the sales figures of a property portal maybe?!
I a have a small property investment portfolio- I use Rightmove findaproperty.com and prime location and more recently globrix.com all four seem to give great results.
