The VivaReal Network has launched the first real estate vertical ad platform across 12 countries in the Americas, to help local, national and international advertisers connect with its highly engaged audience.

The VivaReal Network claims to be the fastest growing online real estate marketplace in Latin America and operates across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and the US, in Spanish, Portuguese and English. The VivaReal Network also provides a website for expats interested in renting or buying property in any of 12 Latin American countries. The Network supports residential, commercial, and vacation properties for sale or rent and is the official website of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), which has over 15,000 members nationwide and acts as an advocate for increasing sustainable homeownership in the Hispanic community.

With the launch of the VivaReal Ad Platform advertisers can reach home buyers, real estate investors, renters and property owners targeting visitors by browser language, user location, city, state, country and more.

The company points out that in the US there are almost no websites to reach the fast growing Hispanic home buyer market segment online. VivaReal says it is leading the way with close to 1 million page impressions each month in the US alone.

The company quotes figures saying Latin America has seen growth in Internet penetration of ~900% in the last 8 years, while real estate advertising budgets are still almost exclusively spent offline in newspapers and magazines. According to Everis, Brazil is number 5 in the world in terms of internet users, with 76.2 million internet users – half of the 159 million users in Latin America. Brazil is only slightly behind China, the US, Japan and India and ahead of all countries in Europe in terms of Internet use. The company anticipates most of its growth will come from Mexico and Brazil as real estate advertising budgets gradually shift online, reflecting patterns in the US where 84% of consumers begin their real estate search online, according to the National Association of Realtors.

VivaReal co-founder, Brian Requarth, is excited about the challenges that lie ahead, saying:

“It is exciting to be in an earlier stage market because you can study what has worked (or not worked) in other markets and apply it. Latin America is full of opportunities and we are thrilled to be on the forefront of online real estate marketing in this region of the world. Our ad platform is just the beginning of what is to come. Right now our focus is to keep building the best site possible for our visitors and build on existing relationships we’ve developed with real estate brokers.”

According to a media kit about the new vertical ad platform, the VivaReal Network receives 200,000 unique users per month and lists over 500,000 properties, with the average time on the site per visit standing at 8.5 minutes.

The VivaReal Network is owned and operated by Bilingual Marketing Group, LLC, a Californian company.
