Australian website remoov.com.au is no longer positioning itself as a private seller website, saying it will now operate like a traditional agency. A statement from managing director and co-founder Stacey Lappin explains:

“We are now utilising the real estate license our group has held since 1971, offering our clients the perfect mix between traditional agency and cutting edge technology.”

remoov.com.au began as a for sale by owner (FSBO) website that aggregated listings to leading Australian property portals realestate.com.au, domain.com.au. Lappin’s statement explains that the website will continue to offer the same services, but that it now also provides full agency agreement, buyer negotiation and sale closing services.

The statement says the changes are “a result of a number of factors (some outside of our control)”. It also emphasises that prices have not increased and that the basic package price has been reduced.
