Singaporean property portal propertyguru.com.sg has won the “Best Asia Pacific Property Portal” award, beating entrants from 25 countries in the CNBC International Property Awards 2009.

The website was also awarded “Best Property Portal Singapore” for the second year in a row – but this time with 5 stars, the highest award for the category.

Steve Melhuish, Co-Founder and Director of propertyguru.com.sg, said:

“We are delighted and proud to win these prestigious awards and to be recognised again by our real estate and online industry peers. This validates all the hard work invested in growing the business over the last 3 years.”

The award adds to an already successful year for Singapore’s largest real estate portal. In April propertyguru.com.sg announced a partnership with eBay, which saw the launch of a new feature-rich property search service on eBay’s Singapore website, ebay.com.sg.

Late last year the portal launched a national outdoor advertising campaign and reported its web traffic had grown by over 400% during 2008.
