kijiji.com Moves to the iPhone
July 9, 2009 by Alice Allan

eBay owned kijiji.com has released a free iPhone and iPod touch application that will allow users to search its classifieds, reply to listings, create a watch list, and post items.
kijiji.com, which lists real estate along with jobs, cars, clothes, and pets, was launched in 2005 as a subsidiary of eBay.
The website links to sister websites for Canada, France, Belgium, and Germany, amongst other countries. The gumtree.com family of classified websites are also part of the kijiji.com network along with a number of other classified portals for specific countries.
Early last year, techcrunch.com reported on the rising number of visitors to the US version of the website, putting its unique visitors at 1.8 million for January. More recently, techcrunch.com stated that the number of unique visitors to kijiji.com had grown to 3.7 million per month, but pointed out that this was still far behind numbers seen on Craigslist.
In Canada, however, kijiji.ca is said to be the most popular classifieds website in the country, with Daype Classifieds quoting monthly unique visitor figures of 7 million.
