Big Sunday for findaproperty.com

UK portal findaproperty.com is reporting its highest ever number of visitors for a Sunday.
On 26 July, findaproperty.com recorded 113 visitors logging into the website every minute, up from 106 the previous Sunday and breaking the previous Sunday record of 110 visits per minute.
A post on the findaproperty.com blog speculates on the reason behind the high number of visitors:
“Traditionally, visitor numbers are strongest in January, but if the current trend continues we could see a summer surge that outstrips this year’s winter performance.
Why the recent pick up? It’s possibly a sign that people believe the market has bottomed out and that now is a good time to make a move.”
Earlier this month, findaproperty.com introduced a price reduction tool for registered users that allows them to find out by how much a property has been reduced from the original price.

A free iPhone application has just been released by findaproperty.com. The portal is promoting the new app as the best in the UK market. The new iPhone app allows users to display all sales and rental property listings on a map and browse directions to each property. It also syncs with a user’s findaproperty.com online account so searches on both the iPhone and computer are saved for later reference. The app remembers recent searches and viewed properties, and has an auto-complete function for location names....
