Zillow iPhone App Gets Upgrade
June 18, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

Inspired by feedback on the runaway success of the company’s iPhone app, and the release of the new iPhone OS 3.0, Zillow have issued version 2 of the Zillow iPhone app.
Writing on the company’s blog, senior program manager Rebecca Bastian said:
“The most-requested features we heard in our app reviews were:
* Filter search results by beds, baths, price, and status
* Save searches
* Save favorite homes
You asked and we responded… those features are all available now. And on top of that, we have taken advantage of the cool, new Push Notification technology that Apple just released. Now, when new homes are added that match your saved search criteria, you will see a numbered badge on your Zillow iPhone App icon indicating how many new results have come in. Then, you can launch the Zillow iPhone App to see those new results in your Favorites tab. We think it’s pretty handy!”
The first of these current iPhone apps Zillow released in April has topped Apple’s app charts and been downloaded by over 400,000 people.
