Two More Websites Connect to Facebook

Both US listings and property information website frontdoor.com and map-based real estate search engine hotpads.com have recently updated with Facebook connect functions.

On hotpads.com, the Facebook connect function gives users the option to log in using their Facebook account, share favourite listings with Facebook friends, send listings to friends and have listings alerts sent to their Facebook account.

A review of the frontdoor.com Facebook connect on inman.com outlines similar functions, but points out that it is still a work in progress at this stage.

hotpads.com, which won this year’s People’s Voice Winner in the Webby Awards real estate category, also added vacation listings in March this year.

March also saw frontdoor.com join the Hitwise top 100 ranking of US real estate websites. This followed the launch a of a range of city guides in January allowing users to access various statistics and information relating to 21 US cities.
