Property Blogs Boom

The number of property and real estate related blogs is increasing, rather than decreasing, despite the difficult global property market.
Most of the big name property portals have their own blogs, there are hundreds of independent commentators, and major publishers tend to also have a presence in the real estate blogging field.
One of the latest big name additions is Microsoft’s msn.com first real estate related blog. Called Listed, it sits as part of realestate.msn.com. Figures from Hitwise for May 2009 showed realestate.msn.com jumped 10 places from 24th to 14th – a real coup for the US listings website.
The Listed blog is written by former Seattle Post-Intelligencer copyeditor and homeowner Mai Ling Slaughter, who was working at the Intelligencer until it published its last print edition in March. Her bio says “She keeps a close eye on multimillion-dollar real-estate follies as a distraction from her own home’s falling value”.
Business Week reports that MSN has been adding blogs to the site, but it still gets 75% of its content from editorial partners including The Wall Street Journal, SmartMoney, and BusinessWeek.

Hi,
Really MSN Have adopted a really good technique to increase the loyal visitors of their website because the most of people will trust the MSN blog for property news rather than the other Real Estate blogs. I also do follow the news of MSN Real Estate for international property news.
