in.iproperty.com Goes Facebook
June 22, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

iProperty.com India has further invested in its social media strategy by enabling users to connect with Facebook.
All online communities built by iProperty.com can now include functionality that integrates all community activity into Facebook and vice versa.
In a press release about the move, the company said this supports the iProperty.com real-estate social media strategy to help brands leverage the power of word of mouth and customer engagement online to enhance their marketing mix and grow brand awareness.
“Beyond sharing content and activity, this new feature will increase engagement by drawing Facebook members into online communities where they can interact with clients’ brands,” the company says.
iProperty.com have also added Twitter to keep updated about latest offerings and best deals.
Murli Ramkrishnan, COO, iProperty.com India says:
“iProperty.com India is committed to delivering the best and most up-to-date property listings. Adding Facebook connect to our platform will enhance our community of brokers, developers, investors, homebuyers etc. We believe this feature will deliver even better ROI through increased customer engagement and accelerated membership recruitment among other benefits.”
This announcement follows iproperty.com India’s launch of iConnect, its social media platform, earlier this year.
iConnect takes over from the “Simply Ask” Q&A section launched on in.iproperty.com in 2007. The service is similar to a forum in that members ask questions and contribute answers, but they are also able to “friend” other members and create or join groups.
At the moment, iConnect is soley for the Indian market and has not been expanded to iproperty.com’s portals for Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan or the Philippines.
Classified Ad Ventures is the owner of propertyportalwatch.com, and also owns a stake in IPGA.
