
Hitwise have released their April figures for real estate websites in the US and the results show more movement in the top 20 than in previous months this year.
The top 5 real estate websites in terms of visits remained unchanged.
realtor.com has increased its lead to 9.66 percent market share. It is followed by realestate.yahoo.com, a distant second with 3.72 percent market share, then zillow.com, ziprealty.com and remax.com.
rent.com rose one place to number 6, as did servicemagic.com which ended up at number 7. hud.gov fell two places to number 8. trulia.com finally rose one place to number 9 while homegain.com fell one place to number 10.
There were three new entries to the top 20: mynewplace.com, mlsfinder.com and visualtour.com came in at 18, 19, and 20 respectively.
Nine websites have enetered the top 100 since March 2009: socialserve.com, mris.com, curbed.com, realestate.msn.realtor.com, sublet.com, gosection8.com, ehbsr.com, rentalads.com and nneren.com.
