History

The ImmobilienScout24 company was established in July 1999. In 1997, the company was known as EIB Residential and Intercontinental Real Estate Network GmbH, and in 1998 changed its name to Immobilien Scout GmbH.

The Berlin based company expanded its reach to the Rhine-Main region in July 1999, and by September that year had expanded again to cover all of Germany.
