Italian online real estate network Gruppo Immobiliare.it, and Monrif Net, the leading newspaper group in Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, and Marche regions, and with a strong presence in the Milan metropolitan area, have formed a long-term partnership in online real estate services.
Gruppo Immobiliare.it. which consist of portals immobiliare.it, eurekasa.it and nuovecostruzioni.it, will provide the technology behind the new real estate channel that will be active via four online newspaper sites: casa.lanazione.it, casa.ilrestodelcarlino.it, casa.ilgiorno.it and casa.quotidiano.net.
Carlo Giordano, CEO of Gruppo Immobiliare.it explained:
“What we are announcing today is an important partnership which will give additional exposure to agencies using our services and allow users visiting Monrif Net sites to search within the biggest real estate database in Italy.”
Monrif Net wants to provide its users with a top-quality real estate service and increased online visibility for real estate agencies already investing in print ads. Monrif Net will primarily focus on offering these services in regions where its newspapers have strong brand recognition while Gruppo Immobiliare.it will be the exclusive provider of ads covering the rest of the Italian territory.
Federico Marturano, CEO of Monrif Net and Italia News said:
“With this project we intend on one side to offer our users an integrated system to view real estate ads online and in print, while on the other side to improve our advertising offer and increase agency penetration by giving agencies a service in line with their communication needs”.
The deal presents a serious challenge to casa.it, with whom Gruppo Immobiliare.it competes for top spot in the Italian property portal market.
