apartmentfinder.com Updates and Expands

US apartment portal apartmentfinder.com has updated to include new features and expanded search capabilities.
As part of the update, the website’s featured listings can now display up to five video links, and the search function has been expanded to include browsing by amenities, schools and affordable housing. Microsoft’s Virtual Earth map application has been incorporated as part of the initial search.
According to figures from Hitwise, apartmentfinder.com again moved into the top 100 US real estate websites in March, 2009, following a pattern of teetering in and out of the top 100 rankings in recent months.
apartmentfinder.com is part of North American print and online real estate publisher Network Communications, Inc. (NCI). Along with this recent update, apartmentfinder.com is attempting to strengthen its position through partnerships. The website recently partnered with free classifieds website olx.com, and since April has had its listings included in vast.com’s vertical search.
