Twitter Showdown: trulia.com vs zillow.com

While it’s rapidly gaining in use and popularity, many people still wonder what Twitter is good for. Well, it’s good for many things. Take this recent example of a showdown between two US property portals.

It all began when Teresa Boardman posted a message to Twitter, writing: “O.K. if an agent could only use one, which should they use? Zillow or Trulia?”

David Gibbons, Community Director at zillow.com, and Rudy Bachraty, Social Media Guru at trulia.com, were of course both online and decided to answer.

What resulted was a heated Twitter conversation about the merits of each portal, and in particular the SEO benefits of each.
