Property Portals are Webby Nominees

The nominees for the 2009 Webby Awards have been revealed, with several property portals making the list.

The awards cover almost 70 categories, and in the category of real estate websites the following websites have been nominated:

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate
hotpads.com
nytimes.com/realestate
Riverfront Park
trulia.com

Last year zillow.com was the Webby Award Winner, chosen by the judges, while trulia.com was voted People’s Voice Winner.

The Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities.
You can register and vote until 30 April at webbyawards.com.

It’s the 13th time the annual awards have been run. Winners for 2009 will be announced at an awards ceremony on 9 June 2009.
