indiaproperty.com Creates Builders Database

Indian property portal indiaproperty.com has expanded its offering by launching base.indiaproperty.com, a searchable database that provides information on builders and their projects.

In a statement from the company, Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO of parent company Consim Info, explained the aim of the new database:

“We at IndiaProperty conduct researches at regular intervals to understand the need of our customers. Knowing about the builder is one of the most critical factors influencing their decision in buying property. Based on this insight we have launched IndiaPropertybase.com, which provides reliable and relevant information on properties.”

Launched in 2005, indiaproperty.com covers properties for sale or rent across India, and is one of the websites owned by Internet and mobile technology company Consim Info. The website is subscription based and claims to receive around 1 million page views each day. indiaproperty.com is also behind the Yahoo! property channel in India, yahoo.indiaproperty.com

Other recent developments on the website include a new category for affordable housing, which covers houses priced in the affordable price band in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai.
