casaclick.it Goes Mobile
April 30, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

Late last year Italian property portal casaclick.it partnered with Garmin Italia to offer property searchers the opportunity to upload the properties listed on casaclick.it to the GPS Garmin Satellite Navigation system. Now they’re taking it to mobile phones.
casaclick.it now lets its users access all their listings on their mobile phone, in just a few clicks.
The new functionality is powered by ModoModo, and uses Location Based Services (LBS) through the positioning capabilities of an integrated GPS receiver.
If your phone is not equipped with a GPS receiver, you simply need to enter the name of the street where you are, and the service will present you with a list of properties, sorted in ascending order of distance, falling within the area you specified. It will also put them on a map indicating the best route to reach them from your current position.
The service works on a range of mobile phones, including particular models from Blackberry, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Siemens, Sony-Ericsson Class 6.X for Windows Mobile HTC, i-mate, LG, Motorola, Palm, Samsung, and Toshiba.
