findaproperty.com Reports 11.9% Increase in Traffic
February 16, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

After reporting on the launch of findaproperty.com’s new marketing campaign we came across this good news on the company’s blog:
“findaproperty.com’s traffic has increased by 63.9 per cent since December 08 and currently stands at a whopping 2.8 million unique visitors”, the company writes.
“Sales channel traffic is close to 2 million unique visitors and rental channel traffic stands at over 1.1 million unique visitors (some people visit both)”.
But before we get too excited at what this might mean, the company is at pains to point out that it’s partly due to December being a typically quiet month and January being a typically busy month.
Despite this disclaimer, the year-on-year visitor numbers are up by 11.9 per cent, which is a big increase.
This trend for increased web traffic has also been reported at findaproperty.com’s competitors, rightmove.co.uk and globrix.com, and across the atlantic at trulia.com, who also suggest the traffic could just a “seasonal bump“.
