enormo.com has relaunched with a new look and feel as well as new features like enhanced search technology and a series of ‘gateway’ domains for key markets.
enormo.com claims to be the largest property search website with over 7 million properties listed for sale and rent in more than 50 countries. Last October it changed its name from properazzi.com to enormo.com.
The re-launch is a natural progression from the name change, and is the result of a lengthy four-month branding process that the company hopes has created an “upbeat identity” for the site. It includes a new logo and design and new navigation structure.
The 16 new gateway domains include enormo.co.uk, and work as localised entry points into the worldwide site.
The company says the new enormo.co.uk gateway is highly-tailored for the UK user in its interface language and geodata refinements which improve the search experience for UK buyers looking for international properties. The new .co.uk also includes an agency directory of property professionals across the country. Agents can choose options on the worldwide or UK sites, to highlight listings and raise agency profiles, and new lead-generation options.
Yannick Laclau, CEO of enormo.com, says:
“Since we launched our worldwide property portal almost three years ago, we’ve been building our listings inventory so that buyers have a huge choice of properties. Now our efforts are focused on giving the best search experience for homeseekers, as well as offering a unique service to agents to connect them with a wider potential client base.”
A statement about the changes from the company was valiantly optimistic about the timing: “At a time when the property industry is suffering the ripples of the global credit crunch, Enormo’s fresh orange design and clear presentation of properties reflect the search engine’s positive place in the sector.”
enormo.com’s mission and slogan is to offer “Every property. Everywhere.”
The company says its next focus will be to develop communication channels for everyone involved in the house-buying process.
