zillow.com Announces Record Figures
January 7, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

zillow.com’s latest blog entry reveals a ray of sunshine in an otherwise bleak market, with the US based property valuation site and portal announcing record web traffic.
“In the midst of a gloomy real estate outlook, and traditionally the slowest month of the year for real estate activity, we posted a record month at Zillow,” says the posting on the company blog.
“How much of a record? 5.8 million unique visitors, which is the most for any month since we launched, and is up 62% over December 2007.”
In December zillow.com added a new user-based advice feature to its website. The company says that more than 40,000 contributions are being made per day to zillow.com by its community.
As zillow.com write, “let’s hope there’s more good news for everyone in 2009”.
