Daniel Oertli has been appointed as the new chief information officer (CIO) of the REA Group.
The position has been vacant since former CIO Chris Vulovic resigned in September 2008.
Daniel holds a BA from the University of Sydney. He comes to the REA Group from online trading company CMC Markets where he was Head of IT, Asia Pacific.
His career history also includes 5 years at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where he was Director of IT, Vice President IT, then finally Vice President IT & Operations.
Sources tell propertyportalwatch.com that Daniel will commence his new role next month.
