October 10, 2008 by Simon Baker
The UK’s 14th most visited site (comScore August 2008), fish4homes.co.uk, has undergone a face lift. The new site has been launched as part of an overall upgrade to the fish4 group of sites.
Here is their press release:
fish4 (www.fish4.co.uk) the parent company of www.fish4jobs.co.uk, www.fish4homes.co.uk, www.fish4cars.co.uk and www.fish4holidays.co.uk has today launched its new site, following months of investment, research and redesign.
The new site not only has a new design but is complimented with new functionality, offering the user a seamless journey around the four verticals. There are also plenty of new advertising opportunities for clients. New features include an improved search tool, which allows users to find what they are looking for much faster than ever before. In addition the new improved advice section offers tips to help people find the right car, job or home.
fish4 worked closely with web design agency E3, and the new site underwent usability testing to make sure that the experience for both the client and the user was simple yet effective.
David Hearns, Product Director fish4 comments “The redesign of the fish4 site has taken quite a long time, but we wanted to make sure that we got everything 100% right. E3 and our in-house teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that the end product is on brand and that each step of the process is easy yet results focused.”
Lisa Walker, Marketing Director fish4 adds “The new design integrates with our advertising and sits perfectly with our brand position of helping and guiding users to find their next job, home, car of holiday. It is now easier than ever to find exactly what you are looking for with our new browse and filtering options and the new advice section is more comprehensive. We are really excited to be showcasing this at this time”.
