During my online travels i have come across 3 other sites that provide information about property portals.  If you are interested about this area, you should check them out.

Classified Intelligence

Based out of the US, Classifieds Intelligence covers the world of classifieds – online and offline – and have so for the last 10 years.

Every couple of weeks the publish the Classifieds Intelligence Newsletter – a great overview of everything that is happening around the world in the classifieds market.  They have strong coverage of jobs, cars and real estate plus a section on the people movement.  This is a subscription based service.

In addition, Classified Intelligence produce detailed reports on various classified markets.  E.g. Recruitment Advertising – Moving in New Directions.

Finally, the team at Classified Intelligence have a full blown consulting service where their team can help businesses understand the classifieds market better and develop new and innovative strategies for those markets.

Globaledge.co.uk

Globaledge.co.uk is a relatively new online publication based out of the UK.  It is free to access and provides a wealth of information on online advertising that is primarily aimed at the non-UK based real estate agents and developers wanting to target the UK market.

The business produces a daily email newsletter and generates the majority of its revenues from display advertising.

Inman News

Inman News is based out of the US (San Francisco) and is a leader in the US for information about technology and the US real estate industry. They have a comprehensive site that provides a range of information, much of it only accessible via a subscription.

In addition they run the Inman Connect conference twice a year (New York in January and San Francisco in July) that brings together real estate agents, portal site experts and technology providers from the US and around the world to discuss trends in the online real estate industry.  This conference is a must for anyone interested in the online real estate world.

2. Property Portal Watch Workshop is on Again!

   Once again Property Portal Watch has teamed with the folks at Inman to bring you the second Property Portal Watch Workshop. This day long free session will be held on the 4th August in San Francisco - the day before the Inman Conference. This free workshop brings together the management teams of property portals from around the world to talk about the hottest issues facing property portals today. The first edition of the workshop was successfully held in New York in January this year. That session brought together 50 people from 13 countries representing 33 different portals.
